Itinerary 10: Bristol

The Bristol area is an ideal golf break destination, being easily accessible and rich with quite wonderful golf courses. Recommending three is therefore not easy, but we based on client experiences over the years, we firstly recommend The Kendleshire Golf Club, with its three fantastic loops of 9-hole courses, the Hollows, Ruffet and Badminton. The second round is at Knowle Golf Club, a beautiful JH Taylor design, with twists, turns and flows through the mature parkland. The Players Club concludes the itinerary. Opened in 2002, the Club was quickly ranked 113 in the Golf World 2006 ‘Best Courses in Great Britain and Ireland’. You will play the Codrington course, which was built to the finest specifications with USGA greens, fairway irrigation and a rich landscape of woodland, lakes and gorse all coming into play. The Holiday Inn Bristol is our recommended hotel for the itinerary, with modern rooms and an ideal location in the centre of Bristol.
