Itinerary 11: Wiltshire

Wiltshire has long been a favourite destination with clients and we recommend the combination of the Kendleshire Golf Club, Cumberwell Park Golf Club and Kingsdown Golf Club. The Kendleshire features three fantastic loops of 9-hole courses, the Hollows, Ruffet and Badminton, and time and time again clients rave about the experience of playing the courses. Cumberwell Park is one of the best courses in the South West and has been awarded four stars in Golf World’s Top Courses in Britain. The four 9-hole loops, the Red, Yellow, Blue and Orange, all provide different challenges and encompass a wonderful blend of rolling countryside, lakes, streams, natural copse and woodland. Kingsdown Golf Club was founded in 1880 and has stunning scenery, beautiful fairways and superb greens. The Club is the second oldest Golf Club in the West of England (behind Royal North Devon) and the oldest Club in Wiltshire. The hotel for the itinerary is the Leigh Park Country House Hotel in Bradford on Avon. Set in five acres of landscaped gardens, overlooking the picturesque Wiltshire Downs, Leigh Park is a classical Georgian country house hotel with charm, character and a subtle elegance.
